Suparna was part of a path breaking mental health initiative to combat stress and anxiety in covid times, which was designed as a short term online counselling course by Psychoanalysis India & Delhi University.

As a core faculty member, Suparna offered her unique lens as a professional leadership coach into methods of countering stress and anxiety challenges at the work place. Recent studies from top consulting firms reveal that the ongoing pandemic has negatively impacted majority of employees’ goal progress at work and family engagement, besides deeply changing social and working environments in several ways.

Senior specialists from different fields in mental health (psychiatrists, psychoanalysts, therapists and coaches) came together to brainstorm on developing an introductory blueprint for beginners looking to start a counselling practice. The broad agenda and outcome of the course was to help them develop the critical core skills and competencies that would support them in serving individuals and communities.
